At the moment, domestic farmers are inclined to invest in the renovation and maintenance of existing agricultural machinery, rather than to purchase completely new or used ones. This is evidenced by the result of a survey that was implemented jointly by the Avito.Ru portal and AA-P.Ru (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear inclination to increase the service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to handle it more carefully, naturally, the need for agricultural spare parts and regular repairs is increasing. According to the Avito platform, in 2024, the demand for parts increased 6.5 times compared to last year, in turn, the supply increased almost eleven times. The TOP cities with the maximum increase in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a developed agricultural sector.

Based on analytics selected from the Field website, there is a sevenfold increase in farmers' interest in parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Farmers are now prioritizing a practical and naturally safe method of purchasing spare parts online. Here it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of the spare parts, and comprehensive assistance is guaranteed, from the selection of components to the delivery of the order. In addition, leasing of new agricultural machinery is in trend, the demand for which is growing five to six times annually, especially taking into account state support.

According to information collected from the Avito portal, at the beginning of 2025, more than 140000 offers for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were presented on this online platform. Of this selection, over 117000 ads concerned the sale of new parts. The most popular parts on the scale of the Russian Federation last year were platforms, attachments, bodies, booths, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The head of the thematic section "Spare Parts" on the Avito.Ru website reports that against the backdrop of the import substitution policy, the agricultural sector is showing rapid growth and has indicated a constant need for high-quality specialists, equipment, machinery and components.

Previously, the press releases of the Association Rosspetsmash.ru emphasized the decrease in the production of tractors in the Russian Federation this year. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, domestic agricultural enterprises have reduced the volume of purchases of basic types of agricultural machinery. Some believe that this trend will remain relevant this year.
